Dr. C M Mosabber Rahman was born on February 2, 1986, in Rajshahi. His father is a retired government employee and an engineer by profession, and his mother is a housewife. His only younger sister is a government doctor. In 2002, he completed his SSC from Adamjee Cantonment Public School in Dhaka and in 2004, he passed his HSC from the prestigious Notre Dame College. After starting his studies in Civil Engineering at the Engineering University (BUET), he later switched to studying Medicine at Dhaka Medical College (Batch K-62). In 2011, he graduated with an MBBS degree. In 2012, during his internship, he was recommended for the health cadre in the 31st BCS. He has been working in a government job since January 15, 2013, to the present day. In 2014, he joined a postgraduate course in Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery at the then Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (now Bangladesh Medical University). He was the first in Bangladeshi to make a heart valve harvested from a dead body suitable for transplantation in a human. As a result, in January 2019, he obtained a Master of Surgery degree in Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery. In 2023 he was promoted as Consultant Cardiac Surgeon. He was promoted as Assistant Professor of Cardiac Surgery in 2025. Since 2025, he is working as Assistant Professor in the Cardiac Surgery Department at Dhaka Medical College Hospital-2.
